Product details
Abbe refractometer is an instrument that uses the principle of critical angle of total reflection to measure the refractive index (nD) and average dispersion (nF nC) of transparent, semi transparent liquids or solids;
The Abbe refractometer calibration device is used to calibrate Abbe refractometers or other measuring instruments that utilize the Abbe refraction principle
1、 CompositionThe Abbe refractometer calibration device consists of four types of Abbe refractometer standard blocks, three types of refractive liquids, and a sodium lamp and lamp source.
The four types of Abbe refractometer standard blocks are all rectangular blocks, processed from four high-quality optical glass materials: light crown glass QK1, crown glass K9, flint glass F2, and heavy flint glass ZF2.
The three types of refractive fluids are: methyl salicylate, bromonaphthalene mixture, and diiodomethane mixture.
2、 Refractive index measurement range
The refractive index measurement range of the Abbe refractometer calibration device is 1.47-1.68.
3、 Measurement uncertainty
Uncertainty in refractive index measurement of Abbe refractometer standard block: 5 × 10-5 (k=3)
Average dispersion measurement uncertainty of Abbe refractometer standard block: 7 × 10-5 (k=3)
